The Awqaf Australia Forever Fund is part of Awqaf Australia’s vision to enable donors to establish legacies that will last beyond lifetimes. The Awqaf Australia Forever Fund is a public ancillary fund that will allow charitable grants for DGR purposes.
As a registered DGR entity, donations to the Awqaf Australia Forever Fund are tax-deductible, offering you the opportunity to create a meaningful legacy while receiving the tax benefits associated with your generosity.
How Your Donations Leave a Legacy
Your donation to the Forever Fund is given a waqf status with the intent to preserve your donation indefinitely. This is achieved by investing the donation to generate income and returns. These returns are then used to:
- 1Create and distribute charitable grants to any DGR charity across all charitable causes.
- 2Sustain the Forever Fund by covering any management fees.
- 3Increase the underlying donation capital to allow for larger future grants

This diversified approach allows for risk adjusted returns on investments while keeping capital preservation as the key focus. To ensure we drive sustainable returns on the Forever Fund, we review the performance of all partners and overall investments on at least an annual basis.
